It is manufactured utilizing a high heat manufacturing process which creates a 99% sterile end product. That means it is Phenol Free. The manufacturing process removes the aromatic hydrocarbons (“phenols”) that not only slows the composting process but it also can create health concerns for animals - such as asthma, inflammations, allergic responses, changes in the liver and other organs are not a concern. And the best part about this product is that overall waste volume is reduced 40 – 70%.
